October 13, 2011From starting this book I'm realizing and noticing that their marriage is sort of rocky. He is really not sure if Jane is still in love with him anymore because they are not as close as they were when they first married. I wondered if they are ever going to get better and actually have conversations like married couples do have. They have been together for a very long time, they have 3 children who are all grown up now. But he forgot their anniversary so what if that would of been the last straw for her and left him after all those years they have spent together.
October 21, 2011 i'm realizing from what i already read that he likes to think back to when things were good with him and his wife. For example, the birth of his kids and the first foot steps they ever took. Those things are forever in his memory and it brings joy to him every time he thinks about it. Now he sort of feels like things are falling apart because his wife hardly speaks to him when he tries to have a conversation and actually shows that he loves her. Another thing that is happening that he is remembering is when his daughter Anna comes home and tells them she is getting married on their anniversary next Saturday because the grandpas health is getting worse and Anna wants to do it as soon as possible so her grandpa can be there but Jane has a shocked look on her face. I wonder what Jane will say about it or if that is even okay with her. What if Jane doesn't like the idea and they don't get married then what are they going todo about grandpa Noah?
October 28, 2011I've noticed that Jane didn't like the idea of Anna getting married and the reasons for that are Jane didn't the idea of them getting married by a justice of the peace because that's how Jane and Wilson got married, only having eight days until the wedding because they hardly had time to make arrangements and that Anna intended to keep the celebration small so Jane didn't like that Anna wasn't going to invite all of her love ones. Also Annas father is trying to change her mind about having a small celebration, they want her to invite her close friends so they want to try to arrange that. i wonder if they are going to get everything straightened out on time for the wedding in eight days. What if they do have a small get together and it upsets Jane.

I wonder if everyone in their family is okay about Anna getting married and if Jane and Wilson are getting better with their relationship. What if they never feel the same again about each other as they did when they got married? Wilson says that they are falling out of love in the beginning of the book.
November 18, 2011I've noticed that Jane and her daughter Anna are getting things done for the wedding very quickly. They already got a photographer and picked out flowers. They are working on picking out a wedding cake now and thinking which place they should book for the wedding. Also Jane and Wilson are actually getting along real well again and are falling in love all over again. What if it stays like this, then it will be a happy ending for all of them. I wonder if they are going to last like that or if it's going to go back to how it was. What if it goes back to that way, will they ever find how to love again?
